• We've just been notified from the school district that due to the heavy rain, many of the fields are extremely wet and badly damaged.  Therefore they're cancelling all LCISD field event usage for this weekend. So there are no practice or games for tomorrow, October 2nd.

• We hope all are safe and taking the necessary precautions during these unprecedented times. In response to the rapidly evolving COVID-19, Lamar CISD extended the closure of all schools and facilities through April 10, 2020. Due to this closure the earliest that we will be able to resume play is Saturday, April 11, 2020.

• Currently, the Board is in the process of working out a schedule to accommodate lost games. These options consist of extending the season through the end of May and/or possibly playing double headers. Once school resumes, we will meet with Lamar CISD officials to request an extension for usage of the fields.

• We will continue to provide updates as to how the season will progress.

• The season runs from February 29, 2020 – May 9, 2020.

• Saturday, March 14, 2020 (Optional practice- please get with your team coach). This is a bye week for games.

• Our 2020 Spring NFL Flag Football and Soccer Season Starts February 29th. Please make sure to arrive 15-20 minutes prior to practice time in order to receive your uniform(s).

• Please remember that all Quad Sports participants must complete the waiver/release form located on our website under Resources. Please make sure you bring it with you on the first day when you check-in.

• Join us for a morning of fun as Quad Sports hosts the First Down

• Football clinic on Saturday, January 25, 2020. This free football clinic for boys and girls ages 3-17 will teach kids the basics of football such as running, jumping and passing. Attendance is FREE but registration is required. It's open to the community so feel free to pass the word.

• Picture time is prior to practice time. Please have your child wear solid black or navy bottoms for the pictures.

• Are you ready from some football? Our Quad Sports 2018 Spring NFL Flag Football season begins Saturday, February 24th! Here’s some important information regarding our upcoming season:

• Practice  & Game Times:

  Pee Wee Division (4-7 year olds)

  10:30am-11:30am  (Practice)

  11:30am-12:30pm (Game Time)

• ***We ask that on the first day, that you arrive 20 minutes prior to your scheduled practice time, so that you can be assigned to your team and provided your uniform equipment. Also, please bring your signed Release Form which can be downloaded fromwww.quadsports.net under the Information and Links section.

• ​

• Practice takes place the hour before game time. The first 10-15 minutes of each practice consists of group stretch and drills. Please have your child on time for practice.

• Each team will need a Team Parent. This person will serve as the contact for snack rotation lists, picture day and any assistance the coach may need from the parents. If you would like to volunteer as the Team Parent for your child’s team, please let your coach know on opening day.

• We ask that after each game, families rotate providing snacks to their team. A simple snack is suffice (Ex. Juice box and Granola bar). Please get with the Team Parent to sign up for your turn.

• Mouthpieces are needed for all practices and games. Please make sure your child has it with them. No child can practice or play without a mouthpiece. There will be mouthpieces available for purchase on site for $2.

• Safety is a top priority. Please make sure your child has the appropriate equipment needed for practice and games.

• All NFL flag football participants must complete the NFL Participant Agreement form. Your child will not be allowed to play if the form isn’t completed. Please go to nflflag.com/register. Here you will create an account and click the box “I want to associate with my league”. You will then select Quad Sports in the search field.

• Weather updates for game day are available on our website at the top of the page every Saturday morning by 7:00 am.

• If your child has any special needs or concerns, please let Quad Sports Administration and your team coach know.

• Quad Sports provides:Team uniform shirts, flags/belts

• Parents provide:Mouthpiece, personal water/gatorade, athletic shoes or football cleats, and dark color bottoms (shorts/sweatpants).

• Football swag gear will be available for purchase at the registration table.
